ABOUT CHRIS MALKINSON

Chris has literally hundreds of tunes at his fingertips, an extensive repertoire which covers Jazz Standards, Classical, Pop, Contemporary Music and Songs From The Shows -  the perfect combination to provide sophisticated lounge piano music for your special day.

Chris began his professional career playing piano on cruise liners such as QE2 and Oriana, before holding long standing residencies at London's Savoy Hotel, Sopwell House, St Albans and Marcus Wareing's Gilbert Scott Hotel at St Pancras.

Chris has played at private parties for Lord Sugar, The Russian Embassy, The Bishop Of St Albans, and The New England Patriots, and is a resident pianist at Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly. See a full list of venues Chris has played at below.

A PIANO PLAYER'S TALE...

Chris was playing at the well renowned Bombay Brasserie in Kensington, West London back in September 2015, when a lady approached him at the end of his set to compliment him.

“Chris - congratulations on your brilliant piano playing which shall long be remembered”.  After a brief conversation, it turned out that the lady in question was called Corinne, who was fan club secretary of the much celebrated Liberace at the height of his fame. That's some compliment!
